Statue of Queen Suhita of Majapahit

Suhita was a Javanese titular queen and the sixth monarch of Majapahit , who ruled from 1429 to 1447.

She was the daughter of her predecessor Wikramawardhana and a concubine who was the daughter of Bhre (= princess) Wirabhumi , who was killed in a civil war against Wikramawardhana. Suhita's successor was her brother Kertawijaya .

The story Damarwulan is said to have been inspired by her rule, as it features a young queen and during her rule, as was once the case with Suhita, a war with the Kingdom of Blambangan takes place.

A sculpture in the district of Tulungagung in East Java was found Suhita supposed to represent. She is dressed in royal robes and holds a lotus bud in her right hand, which was a symbol of deceased kings.
