The Sukel or Soekel / Sökel was a special measure of weight in the Moluccas and was primarily used for the trade in mace .

The gross weight was one Sukel = 87 2/3 kilograms (170 Troy pounds (Dutch))

The price was set at 6 Troy pounds (Dutch) each.
