Sulayman Saho ran as a candidate for the United Democratic Party (UDP) in the 2017 parliamentary elections in the Central Baddibu constituency in the Kerewan Administrative Region . With 67.86% he was able to win the constituency before Momodou Lamin Jobe (GDC) for himself.
