Sulaiman bin Abd al-Aziz ar-Rajihi ( Arabic سليمان بن عبد العزيز الراجحي, DMG Sulaimān b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ar-Rāǧiḥī ; * 1920 ) is a Saudi Arabian entrepreneur and banker .

Life

Ar-Rajihi grew up in the Najd region . At a young age, he and his siblings began to use caravans to transport pilgrims who were traveling through the desert to Mecca and Medina . Together with his brother Saleh Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi , he founded the Saudi Arabian Al Rajhi Bank Saudi Arabia . Among other things, he owns the largest shrimp farm in Saudi Arabia. In his hometown, he founded the private Sulaiman Alrajhi University . According to the US Forbes Magazine , he was one of the richest Saudi Arabians. Ar-Rajihi was married and has at least 23 children.
