Sun Yu (badminton)

Sun Yu ( Chinese  孙 瑜 , Pinyin Sūn Yú ; born February 28, 1994 in Dalian , People's Republic of China ) is a Chinese badminton player .

Career

Sun Yu won gold in both women's singles and team gold at the 2011 Asian Junior Badminton Championships . At the Badminton Junior World Championships in 2012 she was third in the individual and first with the Chinese team. In the same year she won her first major international adult title in the women's singles competition at the Macau Open 2012 .
