The Suphanburi Provincial Stadium ( Thai สนาม กีฬา กลาง จังหวัด สุพรรณบุรี ), also known as the Suphan Buri World War II Stadium ( Thai สนาม กีฬา สงครามโลก ครั้ง ที่ 2 จังหวัด สุพรรณบุรี ) is a multifunctional stadium in Suphanburi in Suphanburi Province , Thailand . It is currently mainly used for soccer games and is the home stadium of the Thai first division club Suphanburi Football Club . The stadium, built in 1945/1946, has a capacity of 15,000 spectators. The stadium, in order to meet the requirements of the AFC , is fully equipped with seats. Before the renovation, the stadium had a capacity of 25,000 spectators.
So far, a game of the Thai national team has taken place in the stadium. On October 14th, 2018 they played a friendly against Trinidad and Tobago that they could win 1-0.
