Susanne Maurer

Susanne Maurer (* 1958 ) is a German educational scientist and university teacher .

Life

From 1977 to 1984 she studied educational science at the University of Tübingen in the field of social education with a focus on youth work / community work (1984 diploma in educational science , field of study social education). From 1989 to 2002 she was a research assistant or research assistant at the Institute for Educational Science at the University of Tübingen, Department of Social Education. After receiving his doctorate in 1995 as a Dr. rer. soc. With a dissertation on "Between attribution and self-creation. Feminist identity politics in the force field of criticism, norm and utopia" (University of Tübingen) she represented the professorship for youth work, youth culture, young migrants at the Jena University of Applied Sciences in the 2001/2002 academic year . From 2003 to 2004 she represented the professorship for social education at the FSU Jena . After completion in 2004 and submission of her habilitation thesis ( University of Hildesheim ), she has been Professor of Social Pedagogy at the Philipps University of Marburg since 2004.
