Suurjärv (järv = lake) is a natural lake in Kanepi in Põlva County on mainland Estonia . On the shores of the 42.1 hectare lake is the village of Rebaste and 54.2 kilometers away is the 3555 km² lake Peipus (Peipsi-Pihkva järv). The lake has an average depth of 6.1 meters, in some places it is up to 17.7 meters deep.
