Sven Koenig
Sven Koenig (born February 12, 1964 ) is a German scientist with a research focus on artificial intelligence and professor of computer science at the University of Southern California .
Life
Sven Koenig studied computer science and business administration at the University of Hamburg and graduated in business administration with a diploma in 1991 and a year later also with a diploma in computer science. He also earned a master's degree in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley in 1991 and another two years later from Carnegie Mellon University .
In 1997 he completed his doctorate with the title Goal-Directed Acting with Incomplete Information , also at Carnegie Mellon University. Koenig has been Professor of Computer Science at the University of Southern California since September 2003.
