Svend Wiele (born January 21, 1981 ) is a former German ice hockey player who was active during his career for the Munich Barons in the German ice hockey league .

Career

Wiele has been in the squad of the Munich Barons from the German Ice Hockey League since the 1999/00 season . After a 3-1 victory in the final against the Kölner Haie , the 19-year-old was able to win the German championship with the Barons . The defensive player was only used in seven league games and did not score a scorer point . Furthermore, he completed 33 games in the same season for Deggendorfer SC in the Oberliga and five games for EV Landshut , which was also active in the Oberliga at the time.

In the summer of 2000 he signed a contract with the then third division team River Rats Geretsried , where he was in the squad until 2003. Svend Wiele then ended his active ice hockey career at the age of 22.

International

Wiele was nominated in 1999 for the German junior national team , with which he took part in the U18 junior world championship in Kaufbeuren in the same year . There he reached ninth place with the German team, which meant relegation. Svend Wiele was used in six games and scored a scorer point.
