Swedish Ski Association
The Swedish Ski Association ( Swedish Svenska Skidförbundet - SSF ) is the umbrella organization of the Swedish ski clubs within the Swedish Sports Association ( Riksidrottsförbundet ).
The association, based in Falun, has its origins as an association for the promotion of skiing within the Riksidrottsförbundet (Reich Sports Association) founded in 1904 . The association was founded on December 11, 1908. The association has over 180,000 members; Association president has been Mats Årjes since 2008 .
