The SFC Sport Club (usually just SFC for short , formerly Swakopmund Football Club ) is a sports club from Swakopmund in Namibia . The soccer department plays the biggest role in the club alongside fistball . Rugby, table tennis, squash, ice stock sport, netball, various types of gymnastics and skat are also offered. The SFC is one of the largest and oldest sports clubs in the country.
Soccer
For the 2009/10 season , the SFC will play for the first time in the Namibia First Division , the second highest Namibian league in football.
Ice stock sport
Since June 2014 the club has also had a curling department that is affiliated with the Icestocksport Association of Namibia (IAN). The department is registered with the IAN under the name Desert Shooters. In September 2014, the club hosted the 6th state ice stock sport championships.
