Eswatini Badminton Association

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Eswatini Badminton Association (EBA) is the top national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Swaziland . The association is based in Mbabane .

history

Badminton was first played in Eswatini in the early 1990s. The centers were St. Mary's, St. Theresa, Ntfonjeni and Swazi National High Schools. During this time the association was founded, but activities came to a standstill in the years from 1997 to 2000. On December 15, 2000, a provisional association was re-established, which was then converted back into a regular association (the Swaziland National Badminton Association (SNBADA)) in March 2002 . In 2018 (as a result of the renaming from Swaziland to Eswatini) the ENBA changed its name; he is still a member of the Badminton Confederation of Africa and the Badminton World Federation .
