" Sweti Toma " ( Saint Thomas ) or Snake Island (Bulgarian: остров " Свети Тома " / ostrow Sweti Toma, or " Змийски остров " / Zmijski ostrow) is a Bulgarian island in the Black Sea , 15 kilometers south of Sozopol (8 km Beeline).

It has an area of ​​3000 m² and is the only place in Bulgaria where wild cacti grow. These were from Tsar Boris III. planted around 1933; they cover a large part of the island.
