Alongside FriendScout24 and Meetic Group, SwissFriends is one of the largest Swiss online dating platforms for singles . The single exchange has existed since 1999 and is currently operated by the Swiss joint stock company P2b, based in Lausanne .

facts and figures

In 2009 Swissfriends became one of the largest Swiss dating sites by taking over the members of Partnerwinner. According to its own information, the platform currently has 200,000 active members. A total of 800,000 members have been counted since it was founded. The proportion of women exceeds 40 percent. Most of the members are between 31 and 50 years old.

Swissfriends is a purely Swiss dating agency, available in three official Swiss languages (German, French, Italian) and in English. It only accepts members from Switzerland and neighboring regions. The profiles of the new members are checked by hand and the suspicious profiles are deleted.

Membership and prices

Registration on the platform is free, but users can not use all functions. The free services include: the search function and view of the profiles. For active communication with other singles, a paid membership must be concluded.

criticism

Because the platform concentrates exclusively on Swiss regions and checks new members, there are only a few fake registrations at Swissfriends. However, not all of the platform's features were a success. The chemistry check introduced in 2009 and much touted by the makers has proven to be a flop. The members were able to do an odor test and were given suggestions for partners who supposedly had the right chemistry. This test has been discontinued.
