Swiss Press Award

The Swiss Press Award with a total of 140,000 Swiss francs in prize money annually to the most valuable national, four-language media prize of Switzerland . It has been awarded annually in Bern since 1986 in the five categories of text, online, audio, video, local and photo. In addition, a Lifetime Achievement Award is presented at irregular intervals . The nomination and selection of the award winners is the responsibility of specialist juries.

Award winners

Until 2019, the main award winners each received CHF 20,000; since 2020 the two main award winners, the Swiss Press Journalist and the Swiss Press Photographer of the Year, have each received CHF 25,000. The prize is donated by the Reinhardt von Graffenried Foundation .
