The Sygit Point ( Polish Przylądek Sygita ) is a headland on the John Paul II coast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . To the southwest, it limits the entrance from Drake Street to Wiśniewski Cove .
Polish scientists named them after Tadeusz Sygit, an aircraft mechanic on the Polish Antarctic expedition that ran from 1980 to 1981.
