Sylwia Korzeniowska

Sylwia Korzeniowska (born April 25, 1980 in Kalisz ) is a Polish athlete .

Sylwia Korzeniowska is a Polish walker and the youngest sister of former world-class walker Robert Korzeniowski , who is now her trainer. She started at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and came in 21st place over 20 km. Her brother Robert had won the gold medal over 50 km at these Olympic Games and ended his career. With the beginning of his coaching activity, his sister's performance also improved. At the European Athletics Championships 2006 in Gothenburg , Sylwia Korzeniowska stepped into the light of a larger, international public for the first time and took 7th place in a new Polish record time of 1 hour 31 minutes and 31 seconds over 20 km. At the 2008 Olympic Games , she was again in 21st place.
