The synagogue in Bologna , the capital of the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna , was built in 1928. The synagogue is located at via Mario Finzi 4.

history

The synagogue, inaugurated on November 4, 1928, was built according to plans by the architects Attilio Muggia and Guido Muggia . It was badly damaged by bombs in 1943 during World War II and rebuilt in 1954.

During the last renovation in 2008/09, the remains of an ancient house from the Roman Empire were discovered in the basement .
