The synagogue in Aussig ( Ústí nad Labem in Czech ), a city in northern Bohemia in the Czech Republic , was built in 1880. It was built according to plans by the architect Alwin Köhler.

history

The construction of the synagogue in Kleine Wallgasse was financed by donations from the community members. The inauguration was carried out by the Teplice Rabbi Artur Rosenzweig.

The synagogue was damaged “spontaneously by the population” on December 31, 1938. A butcher then set up his business in the undestroyed part of the building.
