Synagogue (Alytus)
The synagogue in Alytus , a town in Lithuania , was built in 1911 on the site of a previous wooden building from 1857, which was destroyed by fire in 1909.
The derelict synagogue in the style of historicism has been misused since the Second World War .
The brick masonry building is unused today and is falling into disrepair. Remains of wall paintings are still preserved inside.
