J Hus
J Hus (born May 26, 1996 in Newham / London ; real name Momodou Jallow ) is a British rapper from the London borough of Stratford .
Career
Influenced mainly by American rap music, J Hus began rapping in elementary school. It was, after all, two friends who got him to take serious recordings and post them on the internet. The two producers Blairy Hendrix and Joshua Beatz contributed the music, a mixture of trap and afrobeat . J Hus first attracted attention in early 2015 when Dem Boy Paigon quickly reached over a million views on YouTube as an audio- only publication . This was followed by his first single with the rapper MoStack and his own song Lean & Bop from his first mixtape The 15th Day , which became a radio hit. The Boy Paigon and Lean & Bop each received over 6 million views on YouTube and SoundCloud in 2015 . The BBC took this as an opportunity to include him in Prediction Sound of 2016 , which predicts the nominees will break through the following year.
Successful releases followed in the new year such as Friendly , which received a nomination for a MOBO Award , or Solo One , which was included in the soundtrack of the British film drama Brotherhood , but it wasn't until the beginning of 2017 that it made it into the charts for the first time. His single with rapper Dave , titled Samantha , came in at number 63, a collaboration with Stormzy on the song Bad Boys reached number 22 a little later. And a week later he also made it into the charts with his sole single Did You See .
