Synagogue in Jirkov (before 1930)

The synagogue in Jirkov (German Görkau ), a town in the immediate vicinity of the district town of Chomutov (Komotau) in the Czech Republic , was built in 1846/47. The derelict synagogue is located on the former Herrengasse, now ulici 5. května.

The building survived the German occupation in World War II unscathed. After 1945 it was used as a storage room.
