The Marienburg Synagogue was a synagogue on the former Schulgasse at the corner of Strunmer Weg in Marienburg . It was built in 1897/98 according to plans by the architect Carl Lübke . It cost 40,000 Reichsmarks. The inauguration took place on August 30, 1898 in the presence of Rabbis Blumenthal from Danzig and Silberstein from Elbing and the community leader Pinkus. The synagogue was destroyed during the November pogrom in 1938 .
