The Nidjei Israel Synagogue in Mexico City , the capital of the North American state of Mexico , was built in 1941. The synagogue at Justo Sierra 71 was built for Ashkenazi Jews from Poland, Russia, Germany, Hungary, Austria and Czechoslovakia.

The synagogue, which was renovated in 2009, has also served as a cultural center in recent years. The building can be visited and there are exhibitions on the history and culture of Judaism .
