Asynchronous table

As asynartetische verses ( Greek  ἀσυνάρτητος asynartetos "non-contiguous", "unconnected") or Asynarteten ( ἀσυνάρτητοι Asynartetoi ; Pl. Also Asynarteta ) are in the ancient Verslehre such verses referred to from various Versfüßen ( Daktylus , iambic , trochee ) or Kola (e.g. hemiepes ) are composed, the parts being separated by diheresis . If the parts are connected by an elementum anceps , a long or short connecting syllable, one speaks of a synartetic structure.

Well-known examples are Archilochius maior and the Daktyloepitriten .
