System board

The system board is a wooden board on which small figures and symbols are placed to represent different systems or processes. System boards are different in their shape and the design of the figures.

The system board was first published in 2006 by Wolfgang Polt and Markus Rimser under this name, originally known as the “family board ” or “relationship board ” in family therapy and developed by Kurt Ludewig and Ulrich Wilken, among others . In the meantime, it has become an integral part of systemic work, and it has found its way into various areas such as supervision , coaching , organizational consulting , etc.
