Szydłowiecki is the name of a Polish noble family of Bohemian origin, the feminine form of the name is Szydłowiecka .

The Szydłowieckis were a male sideline of the House of Odrowąż , who belonged to the coat of arms of the same name. The name of the noble family is derived from the village of Szydłowiec. Jakub Szydłowiecki († after 1420) and his brother Sławko Szydłowiecki († between 1433 and 1436) are considered the progenitors of the dynasty. Due to the accumulation of state offices and lands, especially in the Lesser Poland region , the family became very influential and wealthy in the Kingdom of Poland at the turn of the Middle Ages to the modern era .

The Szydłowieckis died out with Krzysztof Szydłowiecki († 1532) in the male line.
