Count Krzysztof Szydłowiecki (* 1467 in Szydłowiec ; † 1532 in Kraków ) from the noble family of those von Szydłowiecki was a Polish nobleman and statesman .

Life

Krzysztof Szydłowiecki belonged to the Odrowąż coat of arms community and held various offices in the Kingdom of Poland , including castellan , voivode and grand chancellor of the Polish crown, making him one of the most influential politicians in the country.

In 1514 he bought the town of Opatów for 10,000 florins , where he found his final resting place. With him, the von Szydłowiecki family died out in the male line.
