Location and dates

Bagnara Calabra is located 37 km northeast of Reggio Calabria on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea . The neighboring municipalities are Melicuccà , Sant'Eufemia d'Aspromonte , Scilla and Seminara . The older part of the village rises on a rocky ridge, the modern part lies directly on the coast.
