San Giorgio Morgeto is a southern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3023 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria in Calabria . The municipality is located about 60 kilometers northeast of Reggio Calabria on the Parco nazionale dell'Aspromonte and is part of the Comunità Montana Versante Tirrenico Settentrionale .

San Giorgio Morgeto maintains intra-Italian partnerships with the city of Aosta and (since 2011) with the municipality of San Luca in the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria.
