Atilla Yıldırım (born November 22, 1990 in Bad Mergentheim ) is a Dutch - Turkish soccer player .
Career
youth
Yıldırım was born as the son of Turkish guest workers in Bad Mergentheim . Both parents emigrated to Germany from the small town of Yıldızeli in the Central Anatolian province of Sivas . Later his family moved to the Netherlands . Here, at the age of seven, he started playing club football in the youth of RKSV DCG . He later played in the youth departments of USV Elinkwijk and HFC Haarlem . In the summer of 2007 he joined the youth team at Ajax Amsterdam and worked there for two years.
FC Utrecht
He then started his professional career at FC Utrecht . Yıldırım made his debut in the league game on January 19, 2011 against VVV-Venlo . In Utrecht's 2-1 away win, he also scored his first goal in his professional career.
Turkey
In the summer of 2011, a move to the Turkish first division club and the team from his parents' hometown Sivasspor came about. After this change failed, Yıldırım moved to the Turkish second division side Kasımpaşa Istanbul .
After one season at Kasımpaşa, he left this club and moved to the second division Torku Konyaspor . For the 2013/14 season Yıldırım was loaned to the second division club Bucaspor . For the second half of the same season he was loaned to Şanlıurfaspor .
At the end of the season he moved to the second division Elazığspor . During the winter break of the 2014/15 season, he moved to third division club Kocaeli Birlikspor .
