Maropati (in Graeco-Calabrian dialect: Maropàti or Monopàti , Greek: Monopation ) is a southern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1419 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria in Calabria . The municipality is located about 55 kilometers northeast of Reggio Calabria . The Metramo forms the northern boundary of the municipality.
