Melicuccà is an Italian city in the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria in Calabria with 863 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

Location and dates

Melicuccà is 48 km northeast of Reggio Calabria on the north side of the Aspromonte in the valley of the Torbolo River . The neighboring municipalities are Bagnara Calabra , San Procopio , Sant'Eufemia d'Aspromonte and Seminara .

Attractions

In the village there is a ruin of a castle from the 16th century. In the parish church there is a baptismal font from the 16th century.
