Cinquefrondi is a southern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6442 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria in Calabria . The municipality is located about 52 kilometers northeast of Reggio Calabria and about 28 kilometers south of Vibo Valentia and is part of the Parco Nazionale dell'Aspromonte . Cinquefrondi is also a member of the Piana di Gioia Tauro .
