Brancaleone is located 62 km southeast of Reggio Calabria on the southeast slope of Aspromonte on the coast. The place consists of the districts Capo Spartivento (Galati), Pressoceto, Paese Nuovo, Razzà, Fiumarella. The neighboring municipalities are Bruzzano Zeffirio , Palizzi and Staiti .
