Varapodio (in Griko dialect: Bαραποδιον ) is a southern Italian municipality (comune) with 178,760 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the metropolitan city of Reggio Calabria in Calabria . The municipality is located about 37 kilometers northeast of Reggio Calabria on the Marro in the Parco nazionale dell'Aspromonte.
