ATN 3002987: Security soldier (1994)

An activity information procedure identification number (TIV-ID) (formerly: training and activity number - ATN ) is the unique number of a so-called activity term that describes the skills, qualifications, training and activities of soldiers in the Bundeswehr . It consists of seven digits, to which a letter can be assigned as the eighth position for further differentiation.
The TIV-ID is a leading code in the activity information procedure (TIV) of the Bundeswehr, a database - IT system that uniformly contains and provides binding information about the activities used in the Bundeswehr (as an activity term) and qualifications. The term replaces the term training and activity number (ATN), which is still common and used in the Bundeswehr .

Various qualifications are acquired in the Bundeswehr on courses, deployment in certain uses or training at the workplace (AAP) and confirmed with a course certificate (also proof of competence). The various activities are defined according to a specific system with a seven- to eight-digit ATN and an associated “training and activity designation (ATB)” (as a text description) in order to enable clear assignments in data processing.

After successful completion of the basic training, the ATN 100 2988 is awarded across the armed forces , which corresponds to the ATB Security and Guard Soldier Armed Forces (SK) . This is i. d. R., after the ATN First Aid A , the second ATN that the soldier acquires.

Each ATN is assigned to a responsible organizational area : 2 - Army, 3 - Air Force, 4 - Navy, 5 - Central Medical Service of the Bundeswehr, 6 - Armed Forces Base, 7 - Bundeswehr Administration, 8 - Cyber and Information Room (CIR) since April 1, 2017

There are a total of nine so-called training levels to which individual ATNs are assigned:
