The pond at the last Dreier is a natural monument near the district of Zug in the council and hospital forest belonging to the large district town of Freiberg . The two-part pond is a residual area of a clay pit partially filled with rubble .
The name was given as a reference to the name of the inn "Last Dreier" south of the pool on the B 101 .
The banks are covered with tall perennials and semi-arid grass. The waters are spawning grounds for great crested newt , smooth newt , common spadefoot , moor frog , grass frog and toad . Next were grass snake , forest lizard , slow worm and several dragonfly species observed.
