The Turkish Presidium for International Cooperation and Coordination ( Turkish: Türk İşbirliği ve Coordinasyon Ajansı Başkanlığı (TİKA) ) is the state development aid organization of Turkey with its headquarters in Ankara . It is active in 150 countries with 56 foreign representations.

Tasks and fields of activity

The purpose of the foundation is to coordinate and promote economic, commercial, social and cultural cooperation with developing countries. Teaching of the Turkish language abroad is also supported, for example the Turkology project.

TİKA was founded in 1992 as a department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 1999 she was attached to the office of the Prime Minister . TİKA has been assigned to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism since 2018 .

On June 5, 2011 Serdar Çam was appointed TİKA President.
