Door wallpaper
Door wallpapers or door posters are special photo wallpapers made of paper or self-adhesive foil that are intended for decorating doors. Most wallpapers are made with digital printers to ensure good image quality.
Design options
Door wallpapers can be printed with either predefined or self-designed motifs, single-color door wallpapers are also possible. Photographs, illustrations or other graphic designs are suitable as motifs. Some of the motifs that are offered are taken from a certain perspective , which is intended to convey an artificial impression of spatial depth. This should make it possible to make small rooms in particular appear larger.
With some motifs it is important that the viewer keep a certain distance from the door wallpaper, otherwise the motif cannot develop its full visual effect. The subject content can be changed or perceived as slightly blurred.
Some manufacturers also offer two-part door wallpapers for beginners, as these are easier to assemble.

- Foil door wallpaper
There are different types of door wallpaper. Most self-adhesive door posters are coated with an easily removable adhesive, so that no extra adhesive is required during assembly. Some manufacturers use so-called polyacrylate . This one-component adhesive hardens when the solvent evaporates. In this case water. It is important with this type of adhesive that both the adhesive side of the film and the substrate, in this case the door, are properly moistened with water before being attached. The adhesive film can still be aligned when it is wet. Firmness only occurs when the water has disappeared, i.e. H. from the ground or from the air. Other manufacturers use a different adhesive, which means that no water is required for assembly.
- Paper door wallpaper
With door wallpaper made of paper, the attachment works exactly like with normal wallpaper. A normal wallpaper paste can be used for assembly. Such door wallpapers can therefore also be attached to walls and are therefore also suitable as photo wallpapers.
