T47 (Paralympics)

T47 is a starting class of Paralympic sports for athletes in athletics . Affiliations of athletes are outlined as follows:

"Missing a hand."

The division into classes indicates the degree of functional disability of an athlete that is relevant to competition . Track and field athletes in classes T42 - T47 and F42 - F46 belong to the “amputees and equals” . Low class numbers indicate a higher level of impairment than high class numbers.

  • T47: Starting class for running and jumping disciplines in athletics, in which leg functions are particularly important,
  • it is started upright.
