TALIS

The OECD teacher study TALIS (Teaching And Learning International Survey) has been investigating the working world of teachers around the world since 2002 in order to make the teaching profession more attractive and the work of teachers more effective. On behalf of the participating countries, the OECD Education Directorate is overseeing the implementation of the TALIS study.

Germany has not yet participated in TALIS. In Austria, the Federal Institute for Educational Research, Innovation and Development of the Austrian School System participated in this study in 2008 and will participate again in 2018. On the German side, the DIPF | Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education involved.
