Founded on August 2, 1963, Hans Wölfl was the first chairman of the association. In the following year, the construction of squares began, the first two of which were completed in 1965. In the same year the association already had 38 members. The number of members rose rapidly, so that in 1968 an initial freeze was imposed on 120 members. The 1st men's team first appeared in a league game in 1969. The following year the women's team also played their first friendly matches. After the number of members of the association had doubled to 240 in 1975, three more were added to the six existing places three years later. In 1985 more than 500 members were counted. The first successes of club players at the Upper Bavarian Indoor Championships were achieved in the following years. In 1991 the women's team rose to the top division under coach Peter Haas. The path then led via the regional league in 1996 through promotion to the first women's tennis league. However, one could not hold the class and after the unsuccessful relegation round went together with the Crefeld HTC the way to the lower leagues. In 2010 one failed to rise to the state league.

In addition to eleven clay courts, the club has an artificial turf pitch, a small pitch pitch and a clubhouse. There is a first and a second women's and men's team. In addition, the club has a women 40, women 50 I and women 50 II team as well as a men 30, men 40 and men 55 team. There is also a youth department with juniors, girls, boys and mixed bambini teams.
