The dance club Seidenstadt Krefeld eV is a German dance sport club in Krefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia .

aims

The goals of the association are according to the statutes

"exclusively and directly the maintenance and promotion of the amateur dance sport as physical exercise for all ages, especially the youth within the framework of youth development
the proper and professional training of dance athletes for the competition
a wide range of offers in the areas of wheelchair and handicapped dance in dance sport , mass sport and outpatient handicapped sport ( rehabilitation sport ). "

This makes the TC Seidenstadt Krefeld one of the few associations that try to implement the concept of inclusion of the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities .

In October 2011, one of the club's wheelchair dancers was the only German participant in Venlo danst grenzenloos (Venlo dances without borders ) in Venlo (Netherlands) and won their class

A dance couple won the 2011 Germany Cup

A couple danced the bronze medal at the German Youth Standard Championship

A couple danced the International Youth Open tournament in Mons (Belgium) and are in 2nd place in Youth A St. and 4th in Youth A Latin.
