The TI Programmer is a calculator for Boolean calculations . It supports calculations with binary , octal , decimal and hexadecimal numbers and is aimed primarily at programmers . The calculator was introduced by Texas Instruments in 1977.

The introduction of second generation programming languages meant that the computer was no longer sold at the end of the 1980s. The functions offered are now usually part of most scientific pocket calculators , so that the TI Programmer is only of historical or museum interest today.
