TKSV Duisdorf
The TKSV Duisdorf (Turn- und Kraftsportverein 1906 eV Duisdorf ) is a sports club from the Hardtberg district in Bonn , North Rhine-Westphalia .
history
On June 15, 1906, 16 young men came together in the Christian Faßbender inn to found an association to promote sport. It should not only be a gymnastics club, but the neighbors should also be helped in the event of fire. The club was named "Turn- und Feuerverein Germania". A drum corps quickly became part of the club. In 1920 a football department was added. In 1937 it was merged with the Duisdorf strength sports club and the club was given its current name.
In 1959 the sports hall on Schmittstrasse was completed and the club subsequently enjoyed an enormous upswing.

Wrestling
In 1976 the wrestlers rose to the 1st Bundesliga for the first time . In the 1986/87 season, the club also reached the finals of the German team championship for the first time. After relegation in 1989/90, the rise followed in 1993/94. After one season, the club announced its team again. The third promotion to the 1st Bundesliga took place in 2009. After the 2013/14 season, the club withdrew its team from the 1st Bundesliga.
