TMB Bank Public Company Limited ( Thai ธนาคาร ทหารไทย , RTGS : Thanakan Thahan Thai, translated: " Thai Military Bank ") formerly Thai Military Bank is a credit institution in Thailand . The company is one of the largest banks in the country in the retail banking sector. Since December 23, 1983, the company's shares have been listed in the SET Index on the Stock Exchange of Thailand .

history

The bank was established on November 5, 1957 to provide financial services to members of the Thai armed forces and their families. Business with exchange offices at international Thai airports and tourist destinations was also brisk. Financial services are now being offered to other customers through the privatization of TMB.
