The TRICOR Packaging & Logistics AG is a company that manufactures packaging for the chemical and automotive industries. TRICOR is the market leader in Germany for heavy corrugated cardboard.

history

The company was founded in 1931 by Jakob Müller as a wheelwright . In addition to wooden wheels, wooden boxes were also produced for transport purposes. Corrugated board was sold for the first time in 1968 . In 2013 the head office was relocated to Bad Wörishofen . The city had previously lowered the business tax multiplier to 240 percent.

The company has its own forwarding agent / logistics service provider TRANSCOR.

In August 2019 it was announced that the company would be sold to the Japanese group of companies Rengo.
