TRT Okul (own spelling: TRT OKUL, in German: TRT Schule) is an educational broadcaster of the Turkish Broadcasting Corporation TRT .
It went on air on January 31, 2011 on Türksat 42 ° digital. In terms of format and target audience, TRT Oku can best be compared with the German television program BR-alpha .
history
TRT-Okul took over some broadcasts from the former TRT-4 channel , the v. a. Educational offers and classical music performances showed.
Content
In terms of content, TRT Okul deals with educational and cultural formats in its programs. In addition to the classic advanced training programs of the Telekolleg , documentary formats or series of talks, e.g. B. offered to health. There are also documentations and lectures from different disciplines of science and university research. Political education also plays a role in the program. The program "Demokrasi Platformu" (Democracy Platform) is produced as a discussion program in cooperation with universities in the country.
